Rolex Vintage Explorer Ref 1016, 2.1 million serial number, circa 1969. Chronometer certificate with punched serial number and warranty book with punched serial number. 36mm stainless steel case with domed bezel, screw in case back and signed crown. Original black dial with luminous hands and Arabic numerals 3, 6, and 9 and stick markers, sweep seconds hand. The Lume in the hands are cracking and partially missing in the hour hand, as shown in the picture. Automatic 26J movement is running and functioning properly. Stainless steel Oyster bracelet secures with a fold-over clasp and will fit a 6-3/4" wrist. Inside case back stamped "Montres Rolex S.A., Switzerland, Stainless Steel 1016, 11.69". Movement is marked" Montres Rolex S.A., Geneva Swiss, 26 Jewels, 411330, 1570". This preowned Vintage watch comes with Box, Official Chronometer Certification with matching serial number, and Guarantee/Instruction Book, as shown.
